Every farm must keep the Farmer’s Field Logbook: recording treatments, products and activities in compliance with regulatory obligations. An entire supply chain works around that requirement — farmer and staff, contractor, field technician, licensed professional, organisations and dealers — each with their own documentary task.
But the data is born in the field, not at the desk: voice messages, notes scribbled by hand at night, and someone who then has to decipher and transcribe them. TRACCIAL'ABILITA', GDP Consulting’s solution, brings order: it simplifies and intelligently tracks every field activity — on desktop, iOS and Android.
Recording without stopping work.
Asking a farmer to fill in forms is asking them to stop. We had to fit a legal obligation inside a tool that actually gets used, every day, with dirty hands.
The answer is the killer apps: speak instead of write — describe the treatment and the app turns it into an activity; ask instead of search — bulletins and prescriptions you can query intelligently; automate instead of archive — delivery notes and invoices captured and put into flow. And more are on the way.

From idea to field: our work.
For GDP Consulting we handled the whole project: concept and positioning, the design of the killer apps, the naming — «TRACCIAL'ABILITA'», a play on traceability (traccia) and the ability (abilità) of smart tools and experts — the brand, the website, social and the editorial plan, through to sales support.
And the software: cross-platform and built with state-of-the-art technologies and several specialised AI tools — the same intelligence that transcribes the farmer’s voice and «captures» bulletins and prescriptions. We didn’t buy the technology: we built it. Design, code and communication under one roof.
